Today marks the jayanti (birth anniversary) of Annabhau Sathe, a renowned Indian writer, poet, and social activist. Born on August 1, 1920, in Wategaon, Maharashtra, Annabhau Sathe dedicated his life to fighting for the rights of the marginalized and oppressed sections of society.
Through his writings, Annabhau Sathe highlighted the struggles of the working class, dalits, and women. His literature was a powerful tool for social change, inspiring generations of activists and writers. His notable works include “Fakira” and “AzadiACHI Gani”, which reflect his commitment to social justice.
